All Contractors performing Building, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing work must be registered with Routt County Regional Building Department. Contractors Must fill out the below form and submit the required insurance information along with the application to firstname.lastname@example.org
Building Department staff will review your application and complete the registration process. Staff will send you a confirmation email along with your Contractor Registration Number so you can then apply for permits online.
HOMEOWNER’S PERFORMING: ELECTRICAL / PLUMBING /GAS WORK
All home owners who intend to perform their own Electrical and/or Plumbing/Gas work must fill out and sign the below forms and submit them electronically with their permit application online, or you may email them directly to Building@co.routt.co.us
All owners who intend to apply for their own Building Permit to install a manufactured/mobile home must fill out the below agreement form and submit this electronically with their permit application online or can submit this directly to Building@co.routt.co.us
All owners who purchase a HUD Manufactured home in compliance with HUD standards for Routt County must fill out, sign, and have this agreement notarized in our office complying with the snow removal agreement in lieu of the structure not meeting the local snow load design requirements.
