Routt County Communications (RCC) is the consolidated Emergency Communications Center (ECC) providing public safety communication services for 9 primary and 21 other support agencies in Routt County, including local and county law enforcement, emergency medical services, fire protection, Colorado Division of Wildlife, Colorado State Parks, and local and county public works.
All voice and text 911 calls within Routt County’s boundary are routed to RCC. RCC is also the non-emergency telephone answering point for public safety and service agencies including after-hours telephone and paging services for various state, county, and local agencies. RCC also provides criminal history and records access to local, state, and federal computerized records.
Together, all functions provide coordinated communications of critical public safety agencies and resources in Routt County.
