On-site Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS) provide a reliable and efficient means of wastewater treatment and disposal if constructed and maintained properly.
 
 Note: Environmental Health accepts Checks and Credit Cards
 When filling out an application on-line you may utilize a credit card, e-check or pay pal.
 
 
  The Environmental Health Department issues permits for the construction, use and repair of on-site wastewater treatment systems. Permits are valid for one year from date of issuance

Fees

The Routt County Department of Environmental Health (RCDEH) received approval from the Routt County Board of Health to increase permit application fees for Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS) from $500.00for a minor repair permit and $1000.00 for a new permit .   A fee of $1000.00 would also be charged for a major repair requiring a design from a Colorado Certified Professional Engineer.
