Routt County Public Health is excited to announce their participation in The Vaccines For Children (VFC) Program. The VFC Program offers vaccines at no cost for children 18 and under, meeting the following criteria:

  • Medicaid-eligible

  • American Indian or Alaska Native
  • underinsured
  • Please note, Colorado’s Child Health Plan Plus (CHP Plus) and Colorado Access are not VFC-eligible.

For those that qualify, Routt County Public Health will hold clinics Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00 pm. For appointments please register here. Routt County Public Health will reach out to confirm the vaccination and appointment once the patient information is reviewed. Qualified individuals can also call (970) 870-5341 to schedule an appointment.

Routt County Public Health Nurse, Susan Madigan says, “The VFC program is a great safety net, to make sure that children whose parents want them to be vaccinated, have vaccinations available.”
