All Property Owners who are acting as the Legal Permit Applicant and performing their own work under a Legal Permit Application are required to fill out our Fillable Property Owner Permit Application Form and Legal Agreement below. Property Owners are only allowed to perform work on Residential Properties that are their Primary Dwelling and proof is required proving this is your primary dwelling. Property Owner of Secondary Dwellings or buildings associated on the property of a secondary dwelling, are not allowed to be a Permit Applicant unless they take the applicable Contractor Exam for that work classification. Property Owners that own Commercial Buildings are not allowed to be a Permit Applicant unless they take the applicable Contractor Exam for that work classification. Property Owners of a Residential Condominium when it's their primary dwelling are allowed to perform limited amount of work on interior alterations that do not affect the structural or fire integrity of the unit, neighboring unit, or the building itself and they are not enlarging total square footage of the unit.
