Birth & Death Certificates

Birth and Death Certificates are $20.00 for the first copy and $13.00 per each additional copy of the same record.

 As of August 1, 2019, the Routt County Clerk & Recorder has taken over the Vital Records operations for Routt County.

You can apply for a certificate in person at the Recording office located at 522 Lincoln Ave, Suite 21, Steamboat Springs or by mail. If you need to send a fax to Vital Records, please send to 970-870-5443.
