Functions

The Routt County Weed Program works to control noxious and nuisance weeds on county road rights-of-way, educate the public on weed management, and provide weed control in cooperation with other land management agencies.

Please note County rights-of-way (ROW) are generally 60 feet wide (30 feet from centerline on each side). Though we try, we are unable to reach all the way to many fence lines. Please incorporate this area between ROW and fence line into your weed management plans. Below is an image depicting our ROW area.
