Prevention programs and services create a strong foundation in preventing child abuse and neglect. Collaborative Management Program (CMP) has been active in Routt County since 2007, and serves families both directly through Individualized Service and Support Teams (ISST) and indirectly through financial support to grassroots prevention programming. ISSTs work as a prevention measure by bringing agencies together to create an integrated support plan to ensure families can access and receive necessary supports to prevent child abuse and neglect. CMP has grown in its capacity to support families by including a resource navigation program and reinstating a support fund for School Counselors and Social Workers.
