Items of routine and non-controversial nature are placed on the consent agenda to allow the Board of County Commissioners to spend its time and energy on more important items on a lengthy agenda.  Any Commissioner may request that an item be "PULLED" from the consent agenda and considered separately.  Any member of the public may "REQUEST" any item to be "PULLED" from the consent agenda.

APPROVAL OF AND AUTHORIZATION TO HAVE THE CHAIR SIGN THE CONTRACT AMENDMENT TO THE 2021-2022 PSSF CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF ROUTT COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES

RCDHS was recently offered an additional $8,000 to supplement its current Promoting Safe and Stable Families grant. These funds will be used to provide direct assistance to local families who experiences hardship resulting from the COVID pandemic. The award period for the grant period remains the same. The total amount of the contract will now be $77,500. Please review the contract and, if you approve, sign the cover page of the contract from CDHS.

Please note that the Grant Review Committee did not complete a formal review of this Amendment because they completed their review of the original contract in the fall of 2021. Erick Knaus did complete a review of the document and approved the item.

Request that the Board of County Commissioners approve and ratify the County Attorney to sign an Amicus Brief concerning statute of limitations applicable to sheriffs and other law enforcement in Colorado Court of Appeals Case No. 2021CA001648 – Burgaz v. Shrader.
